Hell's Bay News

Captain Dave Brown Floats His Hell's Bay to Victory

New Smyrna Beach, Florida, May 27, 2007 — The 2007 Redfish-Trout Challenge ended well for Captain Dave Brown and his crew, which means it ended poorly for the fish! At the final weigh-in of the inshore tournament, Dave’s crew had achieved the top weight of 47.86 pounds! And since the tournament was won in a Hell’s Bay boat, the prize winnings grew.

Hell's Bay Boatworks encouraged their owners within the tournament. All participants fishing on board a Hell's Bay Boat were automatically entered for more cash and recognition. So, Dave’s crew receives an additional $500 for placing first in the Redfish categories! That’s a lot of Redfish!

The FishStock festival is a unique combination of good fishing and fun times. The entire event is presented by Sport Fishing magazine, and they celebrated their fifth year in 2007 on and off land. On shore, the FishStock Village was the place to be for youth fishing seminars, boat shows, saltwater fishing clinics and other special exhibits. On the water, anglers tackled inshore fishing tournaments.
